On the home front and Saturday freebie

Yesterday my brother and his wife went to see Dad. Earlier today when we talked about that visit, it was clear he was delusional at times. He told them his girlfriend had died and he was a pallbearer. They didn't know what to say and then he said, But I know that's not true because she is here. (In same nursing home as he is - Not) He also said he'd been walking up and down the halls and would be starting physical therapy again soon. He cannot walk unassisted and barely then. No more physical therapy. Naturally my brother was disturbed.

We've made some progress on the house, but there is so much to be done! I'm going over tomorrow to work most of the day. Today was devoted to getting ready for dinner with our grandson who was home from college for a few days. My husband made Tyler's favorite meal - chicken parmesean with a side dish of spinach and potatoes cooked with garlic and a little olive oil. Afterwards, we watched baseball together as we talked bcause my husband's favorite baseball team, the Yankees, was in playoffs. Tyler will head back to University of South Carolina tomorrow but we plan to see him the end of the month around the time of his birthday.

Today's zip of Halloween 2017 is a little bump in the night with ghost and costumed character of the grim reaper.
