Some LOs from Rose Of My Heart by EAL Designs

Playing today with Rose Of My Heart by EAL Designs of Scrapping Whispers. Kit can be found here:

Obviously a romantic kit, it seemed perfect for these photos of my son, Jeremy, and his girlfriend, Berkeley dressed up for a friend's wedding.

Then the heart-shaped glasses caught my eye and I thought of that old saying about everything being beautiful when seen through the eyes of love. Hmm, I thought, what might not ordinarily seem beautiful if not for love? One thing that came to mind was messy babies and we all know how messy they can get. But if it's a baby you love you tend to laugh at the mess rather than get irritated by it. So I "borrowed" some messy babies from the web. The little boy is from kona99; thank you. Sorry I didn't see who photographed the little girl. But thank you for sharing these wonderful pics!

Our grand-daughter has arrived!

Playing around trying to come up with birth announcement that will suit the new parents who want both pink and purple - girly but not too sweet - and who have been calling the baby Princess from the beginning.

Please forgive me for not posting credits here - will try to edit later when I look stuff up. Too busy being tired Nonna.

Yep, the old woman with white hair is me. Larkin is just over 12 hours old in this photo.

Los with Plum Angels by Ariasparkle

Ariasparkle has a cute kit for any who love purple, called Plum Angels, that you can find here at Scrapping Whispers:

I used it to create this page with a photo of friends, Audra & Danny, taken while stationed in Germany:

And this one with a baby photo as I was thinking about my step-daughter's love of purple. Saved it as a QP too so I can put in a photo of her new baby when she arrives (she wasn't here yet when I created these):

On Vacation_Aqua by Memory Lane Creations

It's summer time already! Charlene (Memory Lane Creations) at Scrapping Whispers and Southern Comfort Scraps has a set of On Vacation kits in a number of monochromatic colors. I had to play with the aqua one and want to share my results.

For this one, I used a painting by Bud Burnham:

Note: I recolored the ribbon frame.

This is my favorite, in part because I have babies on the brain right now as my step-daughter in currently in the hospital in labor with her third child, our first grand-daughter. They have a pool where they live and Lisa (daughter) and I have been talking about getting a tiny bathing suit for Larkin (that will be baby's first name) so she can go in the pool. Was looking at some articles and ads about babies swimming and baby swim classes and found a darling photo I had to use with Charlene's kit. Isn't she adorable?

You can buy Charlene's kit here:

(Southern Comfort won't officially open until 7/1).

Thanks for viewing!
