New kit by new designer at SunflowerScrapsBoutique

There's a new designer at Sunflower Scraps Boutique called 4 My Babies and I had a chance to work with one of her pretty kits called Mint Chocolate. Who doesn't love chocolate? and teal is so elegant. You can find the kit here:
http://sunflowerscrapsboutique.com/boutique/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_204&products_id=2673

One of the frames made me think of art deco and art nouveau styles which I love so I created this page:

My thanks to Janette Padley aka Dragon's Lair Designs for the template used to cut the teal paper border.

The little guy giggling and wiggling in the photos below is our youngest grandson, Malachai James Cippa. He refuses to be still for even a moment and is a real jokester like his Papa.

And here is Malachai again with his Papa aka my husband. Hubby is introducig him to his cousins who live in Suffolk.

Having fun with Marked tagger kit

Connie's Creative Chaos at Sunflower Scraps Boutique has done it again. She's got a great, eye-catching tagger kit out now in fall colors called "Marked." I believe there is a book by that name? It seems to tie in with all the recent interest in vampires and witchcraft and such. You can see the kit here:
http://sunflowerscrapsboutique.com/boutique/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_116&products_id=2488

I made a couple tags for Connie, both using some masks by Gwendrilla that I happened across. My favorite is this one which uses a Poser figure by SSLisa that is included in the kit:

And here is another, simplier tag.

Also made a couple bragbook pages:

Just Call Me Cleopatra

That was my mother's nickname for me. Espceially when I wanted to lie around and read or write and she wanted me to go play outside or help with housework. Anyway, I couldn't resist making myself this tag when I got a chance to work with Cleopatra kit by Annie's Design.

Note: I recolored the silver Cleopatra necklace so it would go better with the ankh.

Of course, I made Annie a variation of the tag:

And here are a couple pages I made with photos from the web:
Land of Cleopatra

and People Of Egypt

As you can see, it's a very attractive kit. you can find it here:

Do you like steampunk?

Today I got to play with a new tagger kit by Shell's Scraps called Steampunk Society. You can find it here at Sunflower Scraps Boutique:
http://sunflowerscrapsboutique.com/boutique/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_118&products_id=2521
This really cute kit includes 4 Posers by Wyked Mindz, nice industrial grunge papers, and lots of great steampunk elements. You'll be able to see I had a lot of fun with it lol.
First I made a couple tags for Michelle (aka Shell of Shell's Scraps):

The one above, which I called Steampunk Wonders, didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. However, I think this one, called Steampunk Box, looks pretty good. I'd use it.

What do you think? Made myself one too:

Wasn't through yet - made the first 2 of a series of ATCs:

Before quiting to go make dinner, I made up two frames which I'll send to Shell in case she want's to use as freebies:

Been busy scrapping with Amgels & Dreaming

by Candy's Treasures of Southern Comfort Scraps. Kit can be found here:
http://southerncomfortscraps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_177&products_id=163

Here is a layout with casual pics of my nieces taken this summer. I call it 3 Angels although they aren't really lol. We just love 'em anyway.

I wondered what to do with the whimsical flamingo in the kit and then it occurred to me to do this one. That's me with my husband when we were dating in high school. How time has flown!

Baby Baby by Tink Designs

Here's a cute little kit you can find at Southern Comfort Scraps:
http://southerncomfortscraps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_179&products_id=343
The kit is by Tink Designs and includes 20 papers and 50 elements.
Here are a couple of layouts I made with Baby Baby.

That's my son, Jeremy, when he was about 4-5 months old. I used a swirly template by Dragonfly Beach Designs/Kelly Shipman to create the background.

And here's my grand-daughter, Larkin. Again I used a template by Dragonfly Beach Designs/Kelly Shipman to create the background. A great way to use multiple papers.

Time For Mum by Felice Originals

If you love pink, this kit is a must have (comes in both full size and tagger). Even if pink isn't your favorite color, there is plenty to love in this elegant kit. You can find it at Sunflower Scraps Boutique here (& it's on sale right now!):
http://sunflowerscrapsboutique.com/boutique/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_115&products_id=2248

Felice makes awesome kits and when I saw this one, knew I had to have it. First I made a sort of memorial page for my mother who died of lung cancer some years back.

I love how it turned out.

Then there were the tea time elements reminding me of all our discussions over a cup of tea. I had made Mom a tea cup quilt a few years before she got sick. My only photo of her with the quilt isn't all that good but I decided to scrap it anyway because the photo means a lot to me.

Please note: the valence effect with the checked paper was created using a tempate by Dragon's Lair Designs/Janette Padley.

Having Fun with Welcome To Wonderland

Yes, I'm a big fan of Alice and have been collecting Alice in Wonderland scrapbook kits. I just got Welcome To Wonderland by DSDesign Studio (Dani Salles) and thought I'd share a couple pages with you.

Remember the poor Duchess whose baby looked like (was?) a pig? well this is NOT the Duchess' baby but a cute little girl I used to babysit named Londyn:

And I snagged a photo from my former neighbor's Facebook album (it's okay as she had told me ages ago I could use her photos) to create this page:

The fairy is my former neighbor, dancer Katie Figg who I turned into a fairy by adding wings. Isn't she beautiful? I thought a tiny fairy might be tempted by a bottle labeled "Drink me" if she knew it made you bigger.

You can buy this kit, which is heavily influenced by the newest Alice movie, here at Sunflower Scraps Boutique here:

Bubble Gum Diva!

Sunflower Scraps Designers got together and chose a theme and color swatch. Each has made a mini kit which coordinates with the others and is available for only $1.00 in their personal shop. Our theme this time is Bubble Gum Diva - thin glamour, think glitz, think youthful enthusiasm.

Here's a preview of my D'Ambrosio Arts mini

and Vintage Vixens' (me & partner Echo) mini:

Go grab a few minis and make your own fantastic collaborative kit.
