Edwardian Lady Paper freebie
I had planned to give you something else tonight. However, in one of my famous "Let me put this where I can find it" moves, I cannot find the folder with the kit I was going to give away! So instead I'm giving you another PU paper. This is one I made to show off an Edwardian Lady figure I created some time back. Hope you like it. Notice the big hat?

That brings me to my next topic. Tomorrow I'll be making my debut in the Red Lilies chapter of the Red Hat Society. Gee, doesn't that sound grandiose lol? I'll be meeting the ladies of the chapter for lunch at Olive Garden. I've been looking for a summery casual hat, like a beach hat and finally found one in red (red hat is imperiative!) but while it was a standard size, I felt it was too big on me as the opening of the crown came over my ears. I think it should be just at the top of the ear? I'm not a hat person. So, although I'm going to lunch in causal attire: black jeans, sandals, purple tee-top (you must wear something purple in your clothing), I'm going to have to wear the little cocktail hat I've just finished making. I know, they don't go together but I refuse to go buy something like a red baseball hat just to have something casual on my head. Baseball caps are so masculine in my opinion. I'll be a real sight lol. I made my hat entirely by hand in a style that was popular between the 30s and 50s. Imagine an oval with pointed ends that curves to lie atop the head. I covered the red felt base with a deeper, maybe garnet (?) red lace to get a tone on tone effect. The right point is embellished with 2 small deep red roses and their leaves, and above those is a bow of 3 loops of a garnet organdy ribbon and a couple small black feathrs for a little height. Does that sound horrible? Will try to get a pic to show you soon.
Here is the color swatch for the next freebies:
thought it would work to give you some papers and elements you can use for Father's Day.
Hugs!

Harvest Paper freebie & Sales
I have met many wonderful people in the digi scrap community (and sure, a few real stinkers!) and I am thankful for all they have brought to my life. That seemed like a great theme for a belated November sale in both my shops so I'm offering a discount of 50% off anything in Sher Scraps or Wonderland Scraps until the end of the month. The only exception will be any product for DigiStyleDesigns' current CAK, Harvest Moon and at the moment I haven't added anything to that category.
I hope to add a couple new products this week. Mostly what I've been doing is stressing out over situation with my niece (she moved out Friday evening), getting ready for Pumpkin Party Tea for grand-daughter (this past Saturday), running to scheduled doctor appointments, and getting back into routine with my aqua therapy exercises. The last 2 weeks I have made it to the pool at least 2x and am going for 3x next week when I have no appointments on M-W-F. I'm up to 35 repetitions of each exercise and while there's a bit of soreness, it hasn't triggered an increase in fibro pain.
I do have a little freebie for you tonight and expect to add more later this week.
Special thanks to Angie Wenke for the cute fall graphics. Pick up your paper here:
