Wacky Tea Time by Country Liv's Graphics

I scrapped some more photos from last summer's tea party that I had given for granddaughter, Inara, with the Wacky Tea Time kit by Country Liv's Graphics. Liv's kit is so cute! There are 14 papers and 50 elements and all but 2 of the elements were hand drawn by my talented friend. Here is the kit preview:

Above you see Inara when we first let her into the dining room. The layout below shows our tea table. She is anxious for another party but we are going to wait for cooler weather since Nonna (me) cooks all from scratch and it's much too hot for the oven to be on.

I had so much fun with this kit! The first paper to catch my eye was this luscious red one and I am not a fan of red usually. It truly is Very Cherry and I love cherries!

I used one of my border templates on the lovely cherry blossom pink paper and added Liv's wonderful swirled border on top of it. Photo of grand-daughter, Inara, was cut with the pretty mask Liv has included with the kit. I'm so tickled with how this page turned out. The next paper that really caught my eye was this muted plaid that goes with Liv's great "Beautiful" cluster. That cluster makes a beautiful page easy. That's Inara again on the back of her brother, Tyler. I think it's beautiful when siblings get along, don't you? You have to capture those moments because they can be rare, especially when there is a lot of age difference involved.

I couldn't help playing around some more and made 2 tags as well. This one is for Liv:

Scraps from Father's Day w/ Myst Designs

Father's Day is just over but you probably still have photos you haven't scrapped yet. I got a great new masculine kit from Myst Designs called The Men In My Life, which you can find here: http://tiny.cc/MystDesignsStores I used it to scrap a layout of my Dad and I (okay, I used an older photo of me 'cause I haven't allowed photos last couple years); I call it Always Daddy's Girl. Dad is 82 and I realize I might not have him much longer although his health is pretty good. Find myself thinking a lot about things we've done over the years. While I was at it, I decided to scrap the other important men in my life like my husband: My son, Jeremy: And our oldest grandson, Tyler: We don't get to see the youngest grandson, Malachai, very often and when we do, we can't get him to keep still long enough for a photo! I'm hunting for a good photo of him to add to this little collection. I hate how I can't tell where blogger is putting the photos in relation to the text!

Lovely "September Light"

Of course I know it's not September lol. September Light is the name of a lovely new kit by Myst Designs. The coast of North Carolina is my son's favorite playground and where he plans to be married. This kit is definitely going to be used to scrap some of the wedding and reception in Nags Head. I love it because Myst has both detailed beach images and wonderfully soft abstract papers too. In all the beachy colors I love. I scrapped a few photos using this kit and some old photos of Jeremy and his girlfriend down at Hatteras and Nags Head. Ssh, don't tell but the one with Jeremy and girl fishing is an old girlfriend. It was just too perfect for the page I wanted to make. Now these are of Jeremy and Berkeley, our future daughter-in law: Yep, that's the real Hatteras lighthouse but Myst has one in the kit too in case you haven't been there ;) You've got to have this kit now, don't you? Melody Of The Heart

A Spell Of Spring

Just got a wonderful spring kit from Myst Designs called A Spring Spell and want to show off some layouts I did with it. Here is my favorite which I called Twilight In The Forest Of My Dreams. I loved the forest paper and searched through my photos until I came across this extraction of granddaughter Larkin that I'd used in a Wonderland scene. Here she is a little forest elf.

Layouts for Spring Time by Felice Originals

Felice has a new kit out called Spring Time and I got to play with it! When I think of Spring I think of renewal, new life, birds, and flowers. I just had to scrap a newborn photo of my grand-daughter, Larkin with the pretty pink paper.

I made up a silly little poem as I worked and scrapped that too:

This kit contains typical Spring things but also some nice steampunk goodies. Have a look at my steampunk tags: This one I call Spring Steam - it features Posers by BNB and Sweet Poisen 67 as well as Felice.

Recently, I was given an opportunity to play with a really cute Easter kit called Bunny Time from Designs By S. G. Rowe. I'd like to show you some tags and ATCs I made with it.

Some baby pages and tags

Yes, it's been forever since I last posted. Had over 6 weeks of medical problems followed by earthquake and then hurricane Irene! Would like to share some baby related work I did before I became ill.

My friend in Belgium, Felice of Felice Originals, created some new baby kits while waiting for the arrival of her first grandchild, Fleur. Here are some pages I made with her tagger sized kit, Precious Bundles.

For All Those Precious Baby Girls

My friend, Felice, of Felice Originals, has made the cutest kit for baby girls, called Precious Little Monkey. Felice has recently become a grandmother for the first time and has an adorable grand-daughter named Fleur. I used her new kit to make her a bragbook and made a couple tags too.
