Scheduling this post ahead because at the time it will be posting, I will be finishing up preparations for a Dolly & Me Valentine Tea with granddaughter, Larkin. She is bringing her two 18" dolls and my 18: doll (a 2nd hand buy used to create clothes for Larkin's dolls) will join us too. I even bought her an outfit and shoes at AC Moore's sale since otherwise, all she owns is a too-short dress that came with her. There will be treat bags for Larkin and her dolls (candy & other items for Larkin & a crocheted poncho and hat for one doll, a crocheted skirt and some purchased shoes for the other). The menu includes a small fruit bowl of fresh strawberries topped with creme fraiche, a heart shaped tea sandwich of cream cheese and strawberries, a mini bagel pizza for a savory (wanted mini quiche but couldn't find any), strawberry scones with mock clotted cream and strawberry jam, and for dessert pink cupcakes (I got lazy and purchased those), heart shaped cookies, and some Russel Stover candies that are white chocolate covering a strawberry soft center. It is a lot but Larkin will be here on Sunday too so we will have plenty of left-overs. Just hope my pain level recedes and energy holds out!

Super Bowl Sunday and new Valentine freebies
It's Super Bowl Sunday and many people are busy getting together the snacks for their party. I am not a football fan. It all seems kind of brutal to me, a bunch of guys running around and ramming into one another and landing in a heap. I have learned a little about the game being married to a die hard Pittsburgh Steeler fan, with son and grandson fans of the Redskins. Grandson, Tyler, is very competitive and a day spent with him and my hubby as cheer on or complain about the way a football game is going is not for me. Today hubby will make his chili cheese dip and watch the festivities by himself as son is out of state and grandson in Massenutten tubing. As for me, I'm going to try to get some chores done, update my reading challenge info, start a new book, and set up a few posts in advance. This is going to be a busy week: hubby goes to heart pavilion on 2/9 and we have been told to prepare to be there all day and that is if all goes well and he doesn't have to stay. 2/10 I'm supposed to take June back to her cardiologist for another possible adjustment of pacemaker if I don't need to be with John. I've heard most people see a dramatic improvement after getting a pacemaker but we have not seen in with June. 2/11 will be catch up day and then 2/12 there is a Red Hat luncheon with my local group.
After running on about my week, I should get on with starting your Love Tweet Love freebies. There will be 4 zips of papers (20 Papers) and 44 elements. I made new previews so you can see what each zip contains. Today zip 1 of the papers:

Good news for Motocross Fun fans. I found I had vectors for motorcycle suits and boots!

New for Valentine Romance
Hmm started post without checking to see what I've already shown you. Silly me. Guess I'll just show all of CU4CU stuff for this CAK.
BTW the page border I gave as a freebie is Not included in the set in store.
Heard from my dear friend, Liv aka Country Liv's Graphics, who is in NC and bracing for the winter storm starting there. The one that knocked out power for so many in GA. They (NC) have been told that they may lose power soon so Liv is getting prepared and sent me a warning saying that it's sleeting and visibility is about 10 feet! Sounds a lot like the last storm we had here that gave us 10 inches of snow! Last thing I heard before heading to bed last night was we'd start getting precipitation here about 6pm today - rain mixed with snow and no expectation of accumulation. Haven't checked weather channel yet to see if that has changed for my area. Did put my beef stew on to start cooking early just in case icy weather causes problems.
Liv is taking a design break this month but why don't you stop by her blog and say Hi and leave some warm thoughts? Her designs are lovely and if you aren't familiar with them, I'm sure you will be pleased to discover them.
http://countrylivs.blogspot.com/
I did not get back to desktop PC last night for any length of time but here is a free qqp for you made with some of the above Valentine Romance products.
pick it up here:
http://www.4shared.com/zip/_J_M1XfBba/ss4cu_ValRomance_freebie212.html?
And despite migraine and backache, I'm a smidge ahead with another freebie ready for tomorrow. While it uses one thing from my CU packs above, this item will not be included in any packages for sale. It's just for you and coordinates with the Valentine Romance colors.
Heading in the kitchen now to stir the stew and make another cup of that chai tea. Stay warm and healthy!

Valentine's Romance at Digi Style Designs
Have you seen the new Create_A_Kit at Digi Style Designs? It's called Valentines Romance. Check it out here:
http://digistyledesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=268
Every product in this category is priced from $1 to $4 and all coordinate with the color swatch you see here:
I'm usually ready with new CAK stuff before the first of the month but between unusual weather woes (snow!) and back pain, I was slow getting going. Got my Mardi Gras contribution finished first and am working on a PU Valentine's day kit so the CAk stuff came later.
Just got back from physical therapy and loaded a set of overlays from Sher Scraps:
and from Wonderland some PU papers made from above overlays:
and two sets of page templates:
Am only supposed to be at PC for 30 minutes at a time, then break and do exercise for my back, so I haven't made a freebie for you yet today. Hope to add a little something before I go to bed tonight.

A Little Romance Tagger Kit
Haven't done a tagger kit in ages but had some items I thought might work together, so here goes.
There are 12 tagger size backgrounds (800 x 800 pixels) and 32 tagger elements in Valentine/romance theme. All are saved at 300 dpi in case you want to print something. (Okay, it's also my habit to save at 300 dpi because I usually do full size kits and artist trading cards which I may want to print to include in lunches, letters, etc. I found that if tagger stuff is "standard" tagger size but saved at 300 dpi, you can stretch the backgrounds a bit to make the 2.5 inches x 3.5 inch ATC size.)
Here's an example of a tag I made for myself with the kit.
I'm not a great tag maker and seldom use them since I don't use the mail program that supports tags. Still, it's fun to play around with. Here's a basic Valentine's tag that you may snag if you wish.
Doing the crazy weather thing here in Tidewater - was about 60 yesterday, colder today and dropping more overnight. And the weather people are talking possibility of snow again. My sinuses are going crazy!
Saw my rheumatologist yesterday. After discussing the severe pain I had following our vacation trip in September and my PCP's diagnosis of degenerating discs in lower back plus arthritis, she checked a few things herself. She thinks I may have Piriformis Syndrome and is going to send me for physical therapy in hopes they can teach me some exercises that might help when the problem reoccurs. Otherwise, she said I'd done everything I reasonably could for myself.
Just can't get motivated to do work that needs doing. Have gone through a couple novels my Dad brought me (Kay Scarpetta mysteries) and finished the 6th book of the Games Of Thrones series. I was hoping that would be the end of that and only reading it because I wanted to know what happened to a couple characters I'd found interesting. But no, it appears that the author is going to continue with this series forever! Oh well, that's probably it for me. Passed it along to my nieces who have the other 5.
***In one good piece of news, my niece and God-daughter, Rachel B, has been accepted to Old Dominion University! Congratulations Rachel! Love you and hope you will fulfill your dream of becoming a marine biologist.
