Water under sink & freebie

Had trouble with old kitchen faucet so bought new one & yesterday a friend's son installed it for us. All seemed well until I tried to put back stuff under sink today and discovered we've got a leak somewhere. Such is life. Doesn't help that I' going through some kind of period of exhaustion - don't know why.
