It's October! New freebie- Halloween Treat

October already but still high temperatures here. Waiting for cool, crisp air. This past Sunday, my husband took grand-daughter, Larkin, to Charlottesville to see Nickolodian star, Jojo Siwa in concert. It was a total surprise to Larkin. They had great seats, just 10 rows from the stage. Lots of loud, cheery music, and tons of little girls dancing happily to the tunes, all thrilled to be so close to their favorite singer. Larkin wore herself out dancing and singing along and fell asleep on the ride home. Great day for the two of them and a wonderful memory. I stayed home and savored the quiet, got a little work done and tried to subdue right side pain.

Saw a neurologist last week who, unlike my primary doc, is concerned with problems I've been having with left side. He did assure me this isn't Parkinson's but his best guess before tests is that I've either had a mini stroke or mini seizure. Have already done the blood test for thyroid function, and will go on 10/6 for two MRI's - of head and cervical (neck) spine. Later in the month I go back to his office for an EEG and have follow-up about it all on 11/1. Long time before I know anything but at least we are checking it out. Might be something to do, might not, but even just an explanation will be more than I have right now.

Hadn't originally planned to do a Halloween kit as I've done so many in the past, but started playing around and ddecided this was something I could easily get done with all that will be going on this month. Here is the overall preview:

Thank you so very much for the peacock set and now the Halloween set. You create such beautiful images. I really appreciate what you do and the time it takes to do so. Thank you also for the link to the Digital Scrapbooks Studio blog hop. Very kind of you to post that link.

Hope you are having a wonderful Fall.

I hope your doctor is on the right track! About fifteen years ago, a friend of mine had similar symptoms. She had some arterial blockage, but since this was in Canada they were reluctant to do surgery. She is 77 now but you'd think she was 20 years younger. They experimented with medication and finally had a mix of things that seemed to work. She still has episodes but not nearly as scary as before. One thing they tried did not work at all. I guess her cholesterol etc. was/is very high and nothing seemed to bring it down. They put poor Yvonne on a NO Dairy,No Meat diet for a year! One year later her cholesterol numbers were exactly the same.

Sorry for getting carried away, but maybe this story will be a little encouraging!
AND Thanks for all your great graphics!
