November Girls
Yes, I'm late with this. Too much going on here and my computer is giving me trouble. Ever since Messenger went over to Meta I keep getting locked out of stuff that I can only assume is somehow related to Meta. Anyway, here is a little of the situation here at home. I think I told you that my step-son's wife has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure? She is trying to follow doctor's advice but still having problems. Meanwhile my step-son, Eric, and I have been going back and forth to pain management for our spinal problems. He finally got in to see a neurosurgeon and is scheduled for surgery December 1st to remove the L5 vertebrae which is totally out of place and pinching a number of nerves causing lots of pain and mobility issues. We are hoping an earlier date will become available. He has been a lot of help to us but now it is rare that he is able. After surgery he is going to need at minimum 4 months recovery time. My orthopaedic updated my diagnosis to cervical spondiliac myelopsy. In short, the spinal cord in my neck is being compressed. Surgery is recommended but I have no one to help my husband, or me for that matter. I am trying to put it off as long as possible, relieing on epidurals for pain and reduction of nerve inflammation. Unfortunately, the effects of last epidural are wearing off and I can't get another until after the first of the year. It seems a number of things are contributing to setting off my fibro and chronic fatiigue. All I want to do is sleep whenever I can. But I'll have to get out tomorrow to take hubby to NewportNews to a lunch with his old co-workers because the only other times he goes out is to the doctor. Friday I will be running around trying to get him a wheelchair. But here is the kit preview which does not show everything as I went overboard with it and still am not satisfied.
and an example I made

Sorry to hear you have so many troubles, sending every good wish your way. The kit looks lovely - beautifully rich tones - looking forward to it!
Hi Sherry. Boy oh boy, you have a lot to contend with these days. Hopefully your stepson will be better after his surgery. And you, wow! Where do you find the strength to do all you do? Hopefully you can get some in-home assistance for you and your hubby. Right after my husband and I moved to Florida 20 years ago, I fell and broke both of my ankles. I am so thankful my husband was in good shape to help me in and out of the car, wheelchair, or whatever I had to move to. We moved back to Michigan about 3 years ago because we knew we weren't going to stay in Florida. The dynamics of our family had changed a lot and we wanted to make the move while we were able. Please know that I appreciate all of your kits and pray you, your stepson, and hubby can find comfortable solutions for your challenges.
