Preparing for more snow & more of My Little Valentine

Last report said we might get 3-5 inches of snow this weekend. That's fine by me. We will stay inside and I'll make a big pot of beef stew. Provided, of course, that electricity holds up. My sinus infection seems to be clearing up so no headache today and I got in lots of rest so ought to be able to get some things done tomorrow. Was cheered by news that one of our blog family, Kristy, is expecting a grand-daughter this summer! Looks like I need to be thinking of a baby girl kit in near future. But today, more of My Little Valentine.

Getting Ahead A Little

It is just about time for Valentine's Day and instead of being last minute I decided to go ahead and make you a Valentine's kit. However, I thought it was time for something other than the usual red, pink, and purple. Maybe something a little more contemporary and maybe something for the younger folk. That was my thought anyway. Let's see how I've done.

I din't know what went wrong but I tried all links and I couldn't get link 2 to work either! After several tries, with no clue what is different, I finally go ti to work. Just tried all 3 and found them okay. Hope you do too but if there is still trouble, let me know.

Veri Peri & Pink freebie

I was sorry to learn that a few people did not snag the Gnomish Christmas kit before the end of the month when links expired. Mostly I am trying in a small way to earn a little for my friend who runs the store. I also try to alert my group here when there are big promotions in the store with prices the average person can afford. I know freebies are great, remember I am on a limited income too, but sometimes you might need something for a special occasion or theme that you won't find in the many on-line freebies so I thought it might be helpful to direct you to my friend's store where most of the designers provide quality work for a modest price. For me, there are stores i no longer even browse because their products are too highly priced. Anyway, all that said, please grab these zips before the end of the month if you like the kit.

Sitting here yawning.

Long lunch with the ladies today and it is so cold Steph and I had some trouble with our COPD, having little coughing fits off and on. Still, the 5 of us who made it today had a good time. But with a tummy full of lasagna, now in a nice warm house, all I really want to do is curl up under a blanket and go to sleep. However, I do have a new kit for you. Did you know that Pantone chose Veri Peri as the color of the year for 2022? If you didn't you know now. It was the inspiration for the new kit, Very Peri and Pink.
