Halloween 2021

Spoke with my ex-husband today. He's doing pretty well but having a hard time having to take it easy. He's home feeling "useless and lazy."I reminded him he'd worked hard for years so shouldn't feel guilty about needing some down time. Suggested he do lots of reading and napping until the doctors feel he's ready for ardio-rehab. TUrns out he had what doctors call a "widow maker" where a piece of plaque in an artery breaks off and totally blocks the vessel. Most people don't survive this so he's lucky. Said it didn't feel like what we've always heard a heart attack feels like. He thought it was something wrong with his lungs because he said it felt like stepping outside on a very frigid day and breathing in that cold air. At any rate he's very lucky to be alive and he appreciated my call. So, today I've got more of the Halloween freebie.
