Something New & Not Seasonal

Let's take a little break from the seasonal stuff, shall we? We've done Halloween early, then some Autumn. For this kit I'm focused on little girls, particulary little girls who take ballet classes or want to be ballerinas. I'm actually doing two of these kits, giving away here the one in purple. Finishing up a slightly larger kit in pink for my store. Differences between the two kits? Same sweet little girls with color changes, some elements the same except for color changes and some elements unique to each kit. Same with papers except more unique papers than re-colored ones.

Busy Morning & more of Autumn kit

Good news last night. My friend David was released from hospital with meds and is now home to recooperate. Husband and I headed out this morning and got our Covid booster shots, dropped off a package at the Post Office, stopped at Burger King for quick lunch, then headed to Costco. There was even an electric cart for him to use. Got all but one thing on our list. Tired from walking around but mostly from lugging all those supplies into the house.

More bad news and more free kit

Just got word that the husband of the couple I lunch with has been taken to the hospital with breathing difficulty. He's got Covid as does his wife. Worried about her too because she has other health problems like Parkinson's and diabetes. And all we, their friends, can do is send prayers. Here's part 4 of Vibrant Autumn

Vibrant Autumn freebie

Sorry I missed Thursday post. Will give you 2 zips today. Have had several days of headaches and some severe gastritis. In addition on Wednesday a friend I lunch with twice a month tested positive for Covid! She and her husband were both fully vaccinated but are sick with the virus. Fortunately, there is no sign of pneumonia at this stage, just upper respiratory misery. As both have other health problems had they not been vaccinated, Covid could have been fatal fast. For ayone on the fence about getting the vaccines, I urge you to do so right away. This thing is not going away any time soon.

Halloween 2021

Spoke with my ex-husband today. He's doing pretty well but having a hard time having to take it easy. He's home feeling "useless and lazy."I reminded him he'd worked hard for years so shouldn't feel guilty about needing some down time. Suggested he do lots of reading and napping until the doctors feel he's ready for ardio-rehab. TUrns out he had what doctors call a "widow maker" where a piece of plaque in an artery breaks off and totally blocks the vessel. Most people don't survive this so he's lucky. Said it didn't feel like what we've always heard a heart attack feels like. He thought it was something wrong with his lungs because he said it felt like stepping outside on a very frigid day and breathing in that cold air. At any rate he's very lucky to be alive and he appreciated my call. So, today I've got more of the Halloween freebie.

Had just got home and was lying down when my son called to tell me his father (my ex) had a heart attack that morning but was in stable condition after angioplasty. Jeremy will travel from PA back into VA this weekend to spend a day with him. Have slight residual pain from migraine so signing off for now.
