Confederate & Camo by Black Orchid Designs

This is an interesting little tagger kit by Black Orchid Designs. As it name says, it's a combination of camoflage and conferderate related images. You can find it here at Southern Comfort Scraps:

I made a tag for Sue and Kit, the designers to celebrate their Southern heritage. and one for me about my Virginia heritage. I don't usually celebrate the Confederacy bit even though Virginia was the capital of the Confederacy. The old South is no more and the Civil War is such a sad time in our nation's history. It shouldn't be forgotten, of course, because there are lessons to be learned but it's past and we need to move forward.

Always one of my favorite songs and now Felice Originals has a beautiful tagger kit by that name. had to have it, especially since it has that vintage touch Felice does so well.

Since becoming friends with Felice, I've been making more tags because I love her tagger kits. Mine are still pretty simple in comparison with other tag makers but sometimes I make one I really like and I do like how these turned out.
